This Association aims to be an inclusive organization which
strives to enable, educate and support its Member Markets as
well as advocate on their behalf.

The following benefits have been realized by our Member Markets:

• sponsorships to the Direct Farm Marketing Conference

• through our Executive Director, a voice on the Planning Committee of the Direct Farm Marketing Conference as well as other grass roots organizations and gov't committees that affect farmers' markets

• annual networking opportunities at our AGM
  
• informational e-mail updates on the latest news in the province for farmers' market vendors & co-ordinators as well as bi-annual newsletters

We are also working hard to:

• increase awareness of farmers’ markets throughout Manitoba
• build partnerships with other co-operatives, non-profits, and groups encouraging the consumption of local foods 
• educate consumers of the benefits of shopping at their local farmers' market
