VISION STATEMENT:The Farmers’ Markets Association of Manitoba Co-op Inc is a cooperative of farmers and producers that work harmoniously to promote the success, development and benefits of farmers’ markets for vendors, consumers and their local communities.

 

MISSION STATEMENT:Farmers’ Markets Association of Manitoba Co-op Inc is the network and progressive voice connecting member markets, partners and Manitoba Communities to further the growth of Farmers Markets and local economies in a sustainable, nurturing way.

 

 

OBJECTIVES:

·         To provide advocacy, education, networking and training for the betterment of our membership.

·         To become a financial resource to new and existing farmers’ markets.

·         To be a respected, visible and diplomatic provincial association.

·         To have our organization recognized as the voice of farmers’ markets across Manitoba.

·         To be financially stable with the ability to carry out research and development initiatives to benefit our membership.

·         To be a professionally run organization that promotes the successes of the Manitoba Farmers’ Market movement.

·         To establish Farmers’ Markets as a viable local, healthy and secure component of the food distribution system in Manitoba.
